MISSION CORE SYSTEM

The “Mission Core System” (MCS) is an open system which provides the avionic system designer with several HW & SW services supporting Operational Flight and Mission Programs (Application Software ).
The combination of standard HW modules and standard SW packages (equipment SW ) will eventually lead to the creation of an Avionic System capable of managing:

• Communications: handling of MIL-STD 1553, ARINC 429, High/Low Speed Serial Links
  
  
• Displays (Cockpit & Tactical): symbology generation on HUD and HDD
  
  
• Mission Sensors: sensor data collection and Tactical Data Base management
  
  
• EICAS Sensors: sensor data acquisition and “Crew Alerting” control.
